Sync with non-gmail account

Hi, I am an Android refugee, got my 5S yesterday.

Is it possible to sync my personal (non-gmail) account between my desktop and 5S so that deleting an email on either deletes it from both?

That activity requires an IMAP email configuration. It is not possible with a POP3 email setup.

Thanks for the quick help (even tho' it is bad news, mine is indeed a POP3 account....)
