Iphone 5 help - Stuck in a boot loop

My iphone 5 is 13 months old. I woke up this morning and went to turn it on. It turns on to lock screen for 1 sec then switches off and restarts. It continues around in this circle off then on then off etc. any help would be great thanks

Something is apparently corrupted, and I hope you made a recent backup via either iCloud or iTunes. If the cycle continues, you are more than likely going to have to put your device in DFU mode and restore it via iTunes. Anyway, try completely turning it off, wait about 30 seconds and then turn it back on to see if it clears itself.
