    Can the calendar and notes be set to alert with sound and vibration?

    Calendar - Yes
    Reminders - Yes
    Notes - Not that I'm aware of. I don't even see an alert setting for Notes.

    Anyway, just enable alerts in the calendar and reminders app, place the device on vibrate and make sure both are enabled via the notification center setting.
