Cant find the app store image or access app store on Iphone since upgrade

I have tried logging out and rebooting and logging in again but no joy, I simply do not have the app store icon and cannot seem to find a way to get it back. Phone also wont back up to computer, seems their might be a link...

Any guidance?

Put your device in DFU mode, connect it to your computer via USB cable and then select to restore it via iTunes, and then set it up as a new device. [warn] You will lose all of of photos, music, and data so back it up before starting this procedure.[/warn]
