iCloud backups

I have a iPhone 5s that set up from iCloud. Before I had the 5si had the 5. I want to delete all my old iCloud backups now that I have a new iPhone. I deleted them off of iCloud but when I plug it into iTunes it says "welcome to your new iPhone". Under it says "set up as new iPhone" or "restore from iCloud backup". How can I delete my old iCloud backups and sync my phone to iTunes?

It will always give you the option of both, even if you don't have any iCloud backups. Continue with the set up as new iPhone and you should be fine.
