iPhone email service

Since I have done the upgrade to the new iOS system...I cannot send emails... I write the email and it gives me an error message that says user name password incorrect...I have to the apple store once ...we fixed it but now the problem is back...I use optonline for my email..any thoughts? Thanks

Have you changed your email password lately?
When you're composing an email, look beside where it says "From:"
Does it have the correct email account listed there?

You need to get with your service provider, get the information needed to properly configure your email on your device, and then enter that information when prompted when you set up your email on your i-device.
