iPhone "base station"

My wife and I talk to friends and family around the country frequently and alway do it on our land line. This enables us to pick up two extensions at home to share in the conversation. We want to get rid of the landline, but would miss the multiple extensions. Speaker phone is a poor substitute in terms of audio quality plus it means we must be together at the same spot. Does any third party make a base station sort of device that would allow us to drop in one of our iPhones and link it to a couple of remote handsets? It could charge the phone and also be a convenient place to put it for Pandora.

Hi, there are number of different docks out there. I haven't used any myself. But maybe one of the other members here can give more insight about where you can find what your looking for.
