Software for web design (beginner level)

Hello iMore members!
Long time ago Microsoft had piece of software called FrontPage. That was web development software for beginners. What i need is something like this to have on my new MBP. i need to have a website for the business i'm starting and since it's a start phase, i don't have the money to hire somebody to do the work for me.
Does anybody knows something simple like FronPage?

Apple used to offer iWeb - their version of "front page"... - It will get the job done... can be had for download via cNET.

Thanks a lot for the info. "Used to offer" means it is not an official software, but still will do the job on the latest OS

It was official software... was part of the iWork09 package that Apple stopped offering... I still have it on my MacBook - and it still runs...

It was designed to publish to MobileMe, which is no longer an option... you can set up to publish via FTP to your site's host server...

try this: iWeb 3.0.3 - then run software update to bring it to 3.0.4

Really thanks for your help, but 3.0.3 is an update too and requires full version.
