What do apple leather cases cover as far as warranty goes?

I just got the red leather apple case today from the apple store. Yay! And loving it. I never bought an apple branded case but said it comes with a one year warranty. What exactly does that cover?

The case itself has a defect warranty for a year, that is all that is implying. Basically, if that case starts showing signs of a build quality issue or wear that is not considered "normal", they'll swap it out for you. I swapped my red case out because it was starting to fray around the headphone jack...ended up with a black leather case this time.
