keyboard separate or as part of cover for ipad

I just purchased my first tablet and first apple product, ipad air. I want to have a keyboard, but not sure if I should get a separate cover and keyboard or if I should buy one that is combined. I won't use the keyboard every day, but would like to be able to use one periodically.

It's a matter of personal preference... If you don't anticipate using a keyboard frequently - I'd get a case separate from a keyboard...
