Delete Albums from Itunes on Iphone 5S

How do I delete albums from ITunes on my Iphone 5S? I used to be able to just swipe and delete on my Iphone 4

You can delete song by song from your phone, but not entire albums.

In that case I guess I can only whine and complain. I put too many albums on my 16GB iPhone5s so I couldn't add more ringtones. I thought no problem, I'll just remove an album or two. Couldn't do it, and I also found that I could delete a song at a time. Kept trying, though, and eventually figured out that if I synced from iTunes on the MBPro I could quickly remove all the songs. I had hoped that it would also remove all the albums, but it didn't. Now I'm stuck forever with a bunch of empty albums unless I fill each of them back up with their songs. And if I want different music I'll always have those empty albums cluttering up the space so that it will be a guess every time I try to listen to an album if it actually has any music in it. Yes, very unhappy..
