Google earth running low memory

What do I do when Google Earth says it's running low on memory?

I think this is more of an app issue rather than a device issue. I have Google Earth installed on my iPad and 2010 MBP and when I launch Google Earth on the Mac it's fine, no such issues. However launching it on the iPad and entering the "street view" mode results in the "Google Earth running low on memory." error message. I've force quit the app, deleted then reinstalled the app, have envelope resorted to restoring iPad as new and reinstalling the app. I still get the "low on memory" error message.
