Is it possible to stop your iPhone from saving pictures to the camera roll and the photo stream? Also I don't have a lot on my phone but for some reason I only have about 700MB of storage left. I am not happy about this because I can't figure out how I could have used that much storage. And this iCloud thing is so confusing to me...At my wits end...HELP

As for being able to prevent the camera app from saving photos to your camera roll and photostream, I'm not sure.

Once you take a pic it is going to be saved to the Camera Roll but if you have Dropbox like I do I upload them to my Dropbox acct on their site and i also have the iCloud Control panel on my PC. After you take all your pics or once you install, it creates a folder for Photostream, You get on WIFI, Log into the control panel, Let the photos be transfered to the photostream folder via WIFI and then you can delete the pics from your camera if you want.

'D you cant prevent them but see my answer on the iCloud Control panel which I know you know about.
