can you please tell me how to clear the email notifications? I updated my 4s with the os7 on my phone and now it shows i have 165 unread emails? I want to clear this notice.

Pull down the notification screen, find the email notifications section and then tap on the "X" to clear it.

If my chance you are talking about 165 emails showing on the email app badge number, You are going to have to clear them from inside your mail acct. to clarify for us where you are seeing them?
