WatchOS 5.2 was released today -- the update makes the ECG function available in 19 European countries and Hong Kong, it adds support for AirPods 2, and adds new Hermes watch faces.

At the same time, the update removes the Hour numbers from the Explorer watch face, for those that have cellular.

Will you be updating your watch, and if so, what is your experience with 5.2?

For me, in the few minutes I've been using it, it does work fine but I am missing the numbers on my Explorer watch face.

Series 4 only?

My series 3 (LTE) still has the hour numbers on this Explorer face:

Articles I've seen suggest that not everyone is losing the numbers, but nothing indicating it is limited to Series 4. This is one article on the issue, and it merely states, "If you do have the Explorer face, you may notice that the minute and hour numbers are missing," with the only mention of the series being that it is only available on Series 3 and 4.

Thought I was going mad. I'm experiencing this issue as well on my Series 4.

From the first picture, I have the watch face set to show the minute increments (05, 10, 15 etc). But the watch face on my Apple Watch (the second picture) does not show the minute increments.

I've tried hard rebooting the Apple Watch and also doing the same with my iPhone, but the issue is still there.

Well I don't use that watch face, but for testing purposes mine is ok:

No numbers on my Series 4 LTE, and the Mac update broke my Google accounts. Apple support called me this evening acknowledging
I'm not alone. The latter's more annoying than the a watch face issue.

I like the way it looks but I don't use that face often. I hope they're on the now acknowledged Mac bug - support called and confirmed last night - before this fix. That's not cosmetic and I can't find any true bug or function issue with this watch software update.

:)
