My sister and I both shoveled snow yesterday and didn't get credit for it on our Watches. I think it's because we didn't select the appropriate workout.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Maybe strength training? That’s usually my go-to if there is nothing specific available!

There’s also an “other” catch-all workout selection, I think.

I did it as “other” a long time ago and stuck with it. With 94 ft of driveway and now snowblower it varies by storm. It seems to recognize elevated heart rate.

I just shovel and let the watch capture move and exercise ring credit. I don't think of it as a deliberate workout, which is the only think I use "workouts" for - when I am working out for fitness.

“Other” and one you’re done you can rename it “Snow Shoveling “ if you like. I’m pretty sure it allows you to change the name.

It truly supports the axiom That which does not kill you makes you stronger.

I'd guess Other and just keep your 'watch hand' moving.
