Series 2 black stainless. He’s a Dr and upgraded to the series 3 black stainless with cellular. He has a bad habit of leaving his phone at home.

Anyway, he deactivated the watch from iTunes and I went by and picked the watch up. When I did a reset and started the pairing the watch asked for a login for his iTunes account. Did we do something wrong? Should I do a full factory reset? Not sure what to do.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

He should log into iCloud.com and go to the find device section. Then remove that watch from his account. It is currently activation locked to his Apple ID.
