Music notification question

So, I just upgraded to a X from a 7. I was having issues with pairing my Gen 1 watch to the X. So, I totally reset my watch and all is good. I’ve got everything set up except for one thing...when I stream music on my phone, it shows on my watch and I can’t remember how I got it to stop showing last time. Anyone know? Would greatly appreciate it.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone, in the My Watch tab, go to Settings > General > Wake Screen and disable Auto-launch Audio Apps.

I liked this feature at first. It was nice to be able to glance at my watch and see the name of the song playing. After a while though, I realized the majority of the time I was having to clear it to see what I really wanted and so I turned it off.

I have it in my dock now. Not as fast as a complication, but much better than digging between the honeycomb of apps.

There is one, but only for the large complication slots (i.e., the slot in the middle of the modular face, or the large one at the bottom of the Utility or Activity analog face.)

Create a special watch face you use when you are listening to media with the complication, then switch back to your normal watch face when you’re not.

I have three different modular faces, all with different complications, for that very reason.
