Altimeter

How do you access the altimeter on AW series 3. I don’t use the watch for work outs or running. But I would like to be able to access the altimeter, and perhaps activate a complication on one of my modular faces. Is this possible? Is there a stand-alone app if there is nothing OEM?

If you open the watch app and go to the app store in there you can find some altimeter apps you can install. I'm not aware of one that comes with the watch... at least I haven't noticed one on mine.

You can also look at the activity app to see flights climbed.

I'm using an app called myAltitude. I like that you can choose to have it use either GPS or Barometer measurements to determine your altitude.

Stairs and if you don’t live in a flat country like me in The Netherlands, the change in altitude while walking.
Ascending is more calories burned than descending.

I ski and ride a bicycle, a lot. I also spend a lot of time in the mountains and at altitude.
