I took my Apple Watch to the gym for the first time this morning and was extremely disappointed and hoping it is all user error. I am desperately hoping I can make use of the Apple Watch but the HR sensor was all over the place, I tightened it and moved it to various positions but never got right at times during a heavy workout it would should 40-50bpm and I know it wasn't correct. Now when I did a cool down on the elipitcal it finally locked in and the sensor on the machine matched the watch but through out all of that it never calculates calories burned so my questions are. What is the best way to wear or placement to get a consistent reading of HR and why didn't calories show up? Any help would be great or I may be back to my Charge...
