When are we getting a release date on the Nike+ watch? I see I can order it on Apple Store app but I'd rather walk in day of and buy it. Don't want to wait any longer than I have to.

Apparently Oct 28 is the launch from apple and Nov 11 for BestBuy

Who knew 'volt' was a color? Not ME, anyway. Recently I was at the Apple store and checked out the Nike+ in Space Gray Aluminum with the Black/Volt band. And I liked it. LOL. Same with the and Gray/Volt band. I'd like to see Apple offer a Volt/Black and Volt/Gray band. But that would be some high Voltage.

It's a nice looking Watch. I was really interested in it, but it's now lower on my list, since I'm not a runner. Given my time with my AWS2, $369 is a little pricey for the value I get from an S2.

What I'm wondering now, is whether or not all the regular Watch faces are included along with the unique Nike faces. I'm guessing they are, but I'd like to see confirmation. I neglected to corner an Apple associate and gather intel. There will be knockoff or homage Nike bands, but I may not bother, without the Nike+ faces.

I can't confirm bc I haven't seen the Nike+ in person but I read it somewhere that the other watch faces are on there.

I tried to walk into apple store here in VA to get one. All apple watches are sold out till NOV17th, seems a little intense for such a big product launch. I'm wondering if they're gonna have the nike one on the 28th. guess ill swing in and check.

I really want to like the new NIKE PLUS APP update. I loved the old version and used it for running all the time. But the new version is not reliable and clumsy. I was leaning towards a NIKE Apple Watch. But they have to get the app working better

That's too bad to hear. At least there are plenty of other choices out there. I was/am a big fitbit user, so when my series 2 arrives it's going to be a big eye opener for me. I'm either going to love it, or I'll have some tough choices to make.

Total bummer. What kind of bugs are you seeing with it? I've been using Strava. It's solid, except I question the accuracy of the distance measurements for Strava.

The new app is not reflecting personal bests. Apparently, I can run a 13 minute 5K. It starts and stops alot. So you could be midway through a run and it randomly pauses. I don't like that they removed challenges. Its way more social media friendly then running focused. Just my 2cents

I wanted to be able to match my rose gold Iphone if I got the watch and I also worry about being able to change the bands to a more professional look when I'm not exercising so though I'm not sure I wonder if any of you switched from the series 1 to the nike for a specific reason. I'm not a heavy exerciser and usually do the super hard stuff to be supportive of my friends. I'm more of a dancer and yoga type of person. I'm very relaxed and don't really like running so should I just go with series 2 rather than the Nike version?

I do too. I think I'll just go with the series two though. I believe someone pointed out that the nike without the running app, band, and faces was a regular watch so I'll go with the regular and hope Apple realizes it can seriously cash in by allowing the nike bands for the regular watch.

I'm not sure I understand the reasoning. By regular, do you mean a Series 1? Because a Nike+ is a Series 2, just a special edition of it, with Nike the app, band and faces, for the same money as any other Aluminum S2 Watch.

If you get a Series 2, the app and look-alike bands can be had but not the faces. If you get the Nike+, you can change the band and have a more subtle or 'proper' looking Watch for business or whatever. If I get another S2, it will be a Nike+. If I had any other Watch with a 'Nike' band real or not, I'd get tired of saying 'No, it's just a regular Watch with Nike band'.

I don't know the agreement between Apple and Nike, but I'm not sure Nike would want 'their' bands sold separately, especially if they get a cut of every Nike Watch sold. The Hermès are so pricey that I'm sure they're happy that Apple sells them separately.

I ordered a Nike+ for my girlfriend because she is a serious runner. That was the deciding factor on what model to get because it seems that watch is so intensely focused around running.
