Apple Watch S?ries 2 SPEAKER ?

Now I'm sure some of you got the watch today
(mine only come on 29th sept)
So anyone can tell us if the speaker is louder than the watch 0
And can make a good call with it ???

Review on youtube only fixated on the speaker spitting water...
That not exactly is main function...

Please do some call test and report. Thank you

I've read somewhere (Daring Fireball?) from someone using it that it's definitely noticeably louder.

I know that it will be useful, but it does bug me that I know I'll be hearing a lot of other peoples' conversations as they hold the phone (!) like a tray of hors d'oeuvres and use the speakerphone. Now both sides of the conversation will be clear as a bell. And annoying as-- well.

Now excuse me while I go chase some kids off my lawn.

Never in public, but I don't have Bluetooth in my car
so it's very useful when I drive and also when I biking !

And also when I'm alone at home et my watch ring and I can't find quickly my iPhone...

Well I finally found a Youtube review of call on the series 2 speaker
under water...

But at least it sound louder than the watch 0 !

Oh, I realize that there are a lot of good reasons for extra volume and those who are inconsiderate are in the minority, so no worries.

I'm impressed at the clarity of the speaker in the video. My Watches always sound like the reception is subpar. I hope I don't have to carry around a cup of water to get that clarity. Thanks for the video!

I hope the speaker is louder and usable for calls.
But it's not 100% sure...
Cause, maybe the glass jar serve as an amplifier.
Or
The sound is greatly boosted in the video.

Man it's so hard to just had info on that speaker....

On the good side I received a mail that my Series 2 is ready for ups to come and get it !

Apple Watch series 2 have 2 microphones (or only 2 holes for one microphone ?) vs only one for Watch 0.

Maybe this will help to get a clearer phone call with the watch.

I don't know if Series 1 have also 2 microphones...

Wow, that's a great video. Even if it wasn't louder, I'd appreciate the clarity.

I've only make one call with my Watch as my phone is usually close enough. But I've answered maybe a half dozen on my Watch because my phone wasn't handy.

The increase in clarity is amazing. I wonder if the Series 1 watch is as clear.

Got my Series 2 this morning and did a phone test and even if my friend was hand free on his iPhone, it was very good !

My final verdict:
Series 2 speaker and mic are much better than the watch 0 !!!
