Does syncing with my AW drain my iPhone battery faster?

I'm usually an early adopter in Apple devices...but I waited until recently to buy my first Apple Watch...and I'm really appreciating it if for no other reason than it keeps me from having to pull my phone out of my pocket ever 30-seconds to check the time, my emails & my texts. :)

But, since using it, the battery on my iPhone seems to drain faster than before. Is that true...or am I just imagining things?

Does the AW/iPhone sync drain phone battery?

Yes it will drain your battery a little, but not as much as you think. It is using Bluetooth and Bluetooth drains your battery because it's constantly searching for something to connect to.

The phone's draining a little more because it's using Bluetooth to connect to the Watch. The phone's BT is only 'searching' when in Discovery mode.
