Can the Apple Watch pair with an external GPS?

I would like to pair my Apple Watch with an external GPS, is it possible? How can I do this?

At this time you can not pair it to an external GPS. It uses the iPhone GPS for tracking purposes. You can pair BT headphones and BT heart rate straps to the watch though.
