Hi folks

I'm looking at getting a cuff band, like the one in the following link - MoKo Apple Watch Cuff Band

I'm curious as to whether any other Apple Watch wearers with cuff bands of any kind (either official or after-market) have had issues with the watch not staying in contact with their wrist due to the raised area of the band surrounding the panel at the back and therefore the heart rate sensor not working properly?

I have a similar cuff band and have had no issues with my skin losing contact with the watch. You just have to be sure that it is snug on your wrist. :)

I have a cuff as well similar to the one you were using. Once I got the leather worked in a didn't have any issues connecting via the heart rate sensor. Before that happened I rarely did. I had more of an issue with the clasp cutting into my wrist, but it was prob just a fluke with me lol
