Quick question. When I flip my wrist to show the time, is there anyway to change the amount of time the screen blanks out? I think it's on for 2 or 3 seconds, I'd like it to be longer? is this customizable?

    Thanks.

No way to change it... latest beta of Watch OS2 has it staying on longer... like 70 seconds...

OS2 has a setting to make it stay on longer, but can't change it at this time, with this version.

Yes, you can change it with this version, specifically, if you tap the screen to wake it. I'm trying to take a screenshot of the settings change I made from 15 to 70 seconds, but the screenshot is not transferring over to my iPhone.

Where did they come up with 70 seconds? Where would that be used?

I don't know, but some people, at least here in the forums, have wanted the watch face to be illuminated longer than the default time.

Healthcare for one... Taking a pulse the old fashioned way... The 15 second duration just doesn't work for that...

I think there should be a few choices, and hopefully they will include them soon.

    15s, 30s, 45s, and 70s

That would be perfect, I would use the 30 or 45 options but not likely the 70

On your  watch go to settings, general, wake screen...scroll to the bottom and you should see On Tap wake for 15 seconds or 70 seconds

Remember you need to be on OS 2 👍🏻
