With the very real situation involving watchOS betas not being able to be downgraded (without sending the watch in to Apple), why even chance it?

I think the profile option is either just a holdover from the DP beta version, or serves to keep everything matched with the official 1.01 and iOS 9 beta.

Personally, even with the official builds of watchOS, I'll be waiting a few days before upgrading. Apple's recent history of software rollouts hasn't been the smoothest, and having to mail my watch all the way back to the States from Germany - because of a botched installation, game-stopping bugs, etc. and no way to downgrade ourselves - isn't an option.

Stay away from watch beta unless your developing an app. It's horrible and not in a stage meant for public use. Also, it's not downgradable unless you send it in for service.
