I removed Battery Monitor cause when I check it in glance sometime my watch reboot...
    It happened twice...
I'm still at WatchOS 1.0 on my watch so can't tell if "Battery Monitor" is ok with 1.0.1 ?

So I found 2 other Apps and I'm testing them and let you know if they are ok.

Oops, I meant RemoteBattery, not BatteryMonitor. Yeah, I had problems with BatteryMonitor and I found it a bit slower, although it does look nice.

RemoteBattery has worked well for me with watchOS 1.0 and 1.0.1. It also has iPhone battery status notifications that can be mirrored on the Watch, which is convenient.

I installed Battery Monitor right after I saw your initial post about it. I'm on 1.0.1 and have not had a single crash.

I just added it to my watch face. I was using the chronograph face with the health monitor in the bottom left by default. I held the watch face, tapped customize, and then tapped the health icon. Then, I was able to dial down to the battery-level display.

I had my first reboot while glancing at Battery Monitor yesterday. Looks like there is a bug in the app.

I don't have a need. I can easily go more than a day with my iPhone 6 Plus, so monitoring my iPhone battery is a non-issue.

That's the Watch battery. This thread is about monitoring your iPhone battery from your watch.

As mentioned above, if you have a Mac computer, check out The MAC ID app for iOS. It allows you to toggle the lock state of your computer, and, as you can see, it advises you of the battery state of your paired iPhone. I reviewed this in the Watch Apps section.

Started using MacID on my Watch over the weekend and it's absolute genius. I set my Mac doing a Time Machine backup, then went downstairs and occasionally checked its progress via VNC on my iPad. The backup took just over an hour, and if the Mac had auto-locked by the time I checked it I got a buzz on my wrist, MacID opened up and I could log in again using the Watch.

It's cool enough unlocking your Mac via your wrist when you're in the same room, but doing it when you're remoting-in is like witchcraft ...

As time goes by, my battery level is getting better and better. The longer you use the watch the more you settle into your routine. I am not looking at apps all day long now and not playing with all of the features. I am going to bed each night with the watch at 40-50%. So if I wanted too, I could sleep in it and charge the watch in the car on the way to work.

I'm finding my battery life is still about the same as it was when I first got it. I figure I played with it a little more when I first got it but now I'm finding more uses for it. I'm going to bed with between 35 and 45% on a typical night.

    Hi guys,

I only just noticed this topic, i'm the developer of the Battery Monitor app mentioned. All bugs were hopefully fixed a few weeks ago, if anyone is still using the app and having problems though please let me know and i'll take a look.

I'm currently working on a WatchOS 2 update with complications, quicker performance and potentially network information such as internet connectivity and Edge/3g/4g status.
