How can you tell if you have installed the latest version of Apple watch os 2 beta 2? What new features should I be looking for?

You have to look for the build version... I don't know the build version for Watch 2.0 beta 2

The rumor is Apple incorrectly made the watch update available (but nor workable) to everyone not just those with beta certificates. That's why they pulled it. That could be good news as opposed to critical flaw in beta 2 as reason to pull it.

It's funny how some online take this as evidence we will be able to downgrade. Not likely.

that makes sense ... slightly annoying as I'm now not sure what I've got installed on the watch. I'm sure it's Beta 1.

The phone is now back on Beta1 too and I've installed the WatchOS Beta 1 profile too - just literally finished restarting..

Hoping now that they're both on Beta 1 that they'll pair ... fingers crossed!

can someone link to the 1st Beta of the WatchOS?
I did send you the link 4 times now: Click where it says DOWNLOAD FROM DISKSTATION

Version 1.0.1? It's the latest public release.

No good .. phone just says it fails to pair. No reason to as why. The bluetooth icon doesn't flicker like it did on beta 2.

May just go back to 8.4 until they fix this problem or go to the Genius bar and tell them the WatchOS2 beta screwed things up and get them to send it away to be flashed back to OS 1!

yea, my bad, I downloaded it but it wasn't clear if it was the 1st beta.

Anyway. it still fails to pair so I'm going to go back to Beta 8.4 as that was solid for me. Watch may have to be sent away to get it flashed back to OS1

    Thanks for helping though!

It's failing? Did you installed the profile on the phone, restarted the phone and after that tried to pair the watch? I've done it 2 times now...

Yep. I restarted both the phone and Watch and it still fails. I've no idea why

Well it looks like I've got it all working now. I did the following:

    1. Downgraded iPhone to last stable beta of 8.4 (basicallt back to my latest stable backup that I had used for a daily driver)
    2. Downloaded iOS9 Beta 1 & 2
    3. Downloaded WatchOS Beta 2
    4. Sent the WatchOS profile file to iPhone and installed, and then restarted
    5. Tried to pair watch with 8.4 - told me the iOS was too old
    6. Updated iPhone to iOS9 to Beta 1
    7. Force restarted the Watch by pressing both buttons (the same as you would on the phone)
    8. Paired watch successfully
    9. Updated iPhone to iOS9 Beta 2
    10. Watch has stayed paired & still working

My next step is to try and make sure the Watch is on the latest Beta.

It feels good to have the Watch Back after not wearing it for 2 weeks since the last Beta!

13S5254w is the number for the original Watch OS 2 BETA 1. You need to upgrade still to the BETA 2. 13S5255d

Is there a way to force it to upgrade? I've been in the watch app on the phone to check for updates and it's not picking it up

EDIT: re-downloaded the profile and it's picked it up as a new download etc
