Just received my Apple watch from Apple service center, same watch but is back to 1.0.1. Hopefully I can hold my urge to update it again when Beta 2 comes out😁😁

Seriously? You're actually considering reinstalling the beta again after you've had Apple re-flash WatchOS 1.01 for you when you decided that you no longer wanted the beta on it? Wow!

Wow. There is no way I would update this watch again knowing I can't revert it unless I ship it back.

I'm curious what is the process:

Do you just directly tell them you updated your Apple Watch to 2.0 and now you need it reverted back to 1.0.1?

    Edit:
I went through the motion online and have a box arriving to my address within the next 2 days. I hope a method of downgrading is released within the next few days before I ship this guy off.

I'd wait till you get back from the states on the risk it is not returned in time.

By next week there should be another beta that may give a profile do you can downgrade it.

No one at Apple has ever said they would help us downgrade the watch. The most likely outcome is better battery life at the 3rd beta release. We are hoping sooner but nothing is a sure thing. The only thing we can count on is the final beta before release in Sept to have everything worked out.

No mention of battery as its own issue in notes. Could be secondary related to fixed issue - we can hope!

They pulled the update but failed to update the website text as still reads as if the link will take you to the download for beta 2 and it won't. Takes you to beta 1. Your supposed to be able to get the update over the air once available again, FYI.

Are you certain? Beta 1 did 'after' I paired my Watch with it.

Beta 1 does, beta 2 doesn't. Every time I try to pair, after 2 minutes it fails (watch/iPhone lose BT communication)

You can't pair your watch with iOS9 Beta 2 and Watch OS2?

I've got iOS9 Beta 2 on the phone and trying to pair it with the Watch on OS2 beta 1 ... fails every time; even after hard resets for both devices :'(

    Yep...

I'll be honest, this iOS Beta seems way more stable, and the battery seems "ok" now, but I'm not sure if upgrade the watch will be a good move

I just tried this: Download the watch Beta profile and install it on the phone, restart the phone and after that you should be able to pair the watch, but DON'T Upgrade the Watch OS

Problem for me is that the watch is currently on the last beta and had a factory reset so all i can see is the pair screen etc. The profile file I've downloaded is for watchBeta2. Trying to source the 1st profile file at the moment to put on the phone ( which is on the 2nd Beta )

    iPhone iOS 9.0 Beta 2

Watch and phone unpaired -> Download and install Watch Beta profile (Downloading from DiskStation) -> restart iPhone -> start pairing. Done :-)
