To those of us that have  watches now and want to upgrade when the next one comes out, what do you see that market being? I know this is a difficult question because a lot of us are in different geographic regions etc.

I know I don't plan on getting a new Watch every year like I do with the iPhone because I want to use my watch as a companion device, primarily for notifications & alerts, quick replies and fitness.

Don't we need to see what the Watch hardware refresh cycle turns out to be??

I will upgrade to the next one and go with the mid level version this time. And call it quits after that

I have the sport silver with white band 42mm. My Barber tends to buy all of my old gadgets. he's already has asked to buy it when I'm ready to get rid of it, so I have a lucky situation..

Price wise when it comes to reselling I'm thinking maybe avg $50 hit by Christmas to sell and avg $80 hit close to end of January based on condition and whatever you have with it . But that's depending on the cycle like kch said we will never know until next year.

I know this doesn't address your question directly, but I'm hoping that the refresh cycle for the watch is longer than that of other  products; or, they support the first version for at least three years. I couldn't afford/justify upgrading every year.
