As a EMS provider we use time for taking a pulse and respirations.

I can use a standard watch face for second hand, but the display turns off to fast - less then 15 sec. or if you want to for 30 sec... Nether of these can be done.

Yeah, that is indeed something that needs fixing. I was able to get the screen to stay lit for 30 seconds (watch face with timer) by keeping my finger on the screen for 5 seconds after tapping on the timer.

An issue that Apple should address if they're made aware of it... Do they make a pulse-ox that will plug in an iPhone? Or Bluetooth one?

Mine stayed on for 30 seconds with my watch held up. Not sure if that can be changed.

You can always count for 15 and multiply by 4, I know it's tougher. Lol.

Whenever I take my pulse manually I time for 15 seconds and multiply by 4. That's how they do it in the doctor's office too if they can't find the pulse oximeters.

Take it for 15 seconds then double it. But realistically if you feel it it's not too fast, slow or irregular it can wait till you are in your rig and have a pulse ox.

True good points. Seems mine only stays up for 20 seconds when raised. X 4 it will be then lol
