I just checked again, and it now says there was a mechanical failure. I don't exactly know what that means, but I'm not sure I am getting it on Monday now.

ok my status just changed to preparing for shipment and i was already charged on the credit card. could i be getting it next week?

Mine is finally in NJ. Wish I could just go and pick it up. The distribution center is maybe a 40 minute drive from me but it's not open to the public on the weekends.

Just got email for mine as well. It's in Mt Juliette Tennessee. Shopping tomorrow to arrive Tuesday. Whooooohoooo. I had a 6-22 through 6-29 arrival time so 6-2 isn't bad.

These shipping dates are so out of whack it's impossible to trust the system. I ordered very late in the game - May 15th. But I have constantly moved up - first July, 5-7 weeks, 4-6 weeks, now 2-3 weeks with a timeframe of June 16th - 22nd. No movement on my end (I don't expect it until closer to the 16th) but still, the timeframes are lopsided.

Yeah the whole system is off everyone is getting theirs much earlier than anticipated which is good. My delivery dates are still 6/15 - 6/19 on the Apple Store (Order placed April 13th) but I have an email from Apple and UPS and it's being delivered tomorrow. Just wait until your card gets charged from Apple and it should be shipped shortly after.
That would be nice since I'm actually planning on being away the week it's scheduled. I checked my card and it's still not charged but there is still time this week. 
gotta keep the faith it's on it's way soon. Lol

I definitely didn't get mine much earlier than anticipated. Just got it today. My original window was June, then May 29-June 11. I got it in the early part of the window though so I can't say I'm disappointed.
Ordered on 5/19, available to ship 5-7 weeks (delivery 7/1-7/16)
5/28 update expected to ship 2-3 weeks (delivery now 6/16-6/18)

Mine got advanced to 6/5 - 6/8, then shipped on Saturday (5/30) and got here today (6/1).
So relieved, because I was leaving town tomorrow.
