We've seen the scratch tests and the dropping weights on the Watch test. Here's the ultimate kitchen test where the Watch is put through a battery of different tests. I've learned 3 things from all the testing.
    1. Don't clean your Watch with sandpaper.
    2. Don't drop weights on your Watch.
    3. Don't hit your Watch with an iron skillet.
    Got it!

I've never been a fan of these kinds of tests, although I respect their right to do them. I just find them unnecessary and disrespectful to the people who are trying to get their hands on one to simply wear and use.

Not to mention the waste of materials and effort to make the product only to deliberately destroy it.

Yep! They make no sense. And it seems it's an Apple product most of the time. I don't recall this lady doing a kitchen test on the Pebble.

This makes zero sense. If you're dumb enough to do that stuff to your watch, you shouldn't be owning one anyway.

In the 40+ years of be been wearing watches, I don't ever recall a time when any of them ever just fell off of my wrist, let alone falling into a pot of boiling water or into a hot skillet...

Was she using the Sport? That's what it looked like but I couldn't quite tell. If she was, then maybe I don't need my Zagg screen protector after all.

Can we just talk about how ugly those shoes were? 😝

Seriously, this gives me a lot more confidence in my sport watch, and even with the band now. These videos have been reassuring that it will be difficult for me to damage mine with everyday use.

Hopefully this puts an end to all that screen protector dweebiness that's been going around. Clearly not required for anything approaching normal use.

But was this done with the Sport or SS model? If this was the Sport than I totally agree. If it was the Sapphire screen, then not necessarily.

It was a Sport model. She says that in the video.
