Since so many for the 24/4-8/5 shipping date and with past saying some watches can be shipped sinner than later OR with removal of the April 24 date on the Apple website, I though it's time to get ready to have a thread where we can talk about our order status changes...
I ordered the Apple Watch sport on and for the 4/24-5/8 ship date. My order is still in the same status... I wonder when should we see the status change if we want our watch on April 24? Today? Friday? This weekend?
You'll get a tracking number maybe as early as 22-April if yours is in the first batch to be delivered...
I just hope this Apple Watch launch pickle doesn't mess with promised delivery dates.
I agree. I hope it's really more April 24 than later. But we will know soon enough.
I feel the status will change by the weekend.
Until your order changes from processing to preparing for shipment, not really much to say. I would assume, the few who are getting it in the 24th, orders will be changing statuses by this weekend.

I would assume we'd know more sooner than later since they have to ship from China and clear customs when they get here.
I've also got the 24-8 shipping date range too and I'm still on processing we'll see what it says next Wednesday.
The 22? that seems late. With previous pre orders I recall seeing it fly over seas via the tracking app. I am expecting something this weekend. But I am also prepared to just be disappointed. lol.
I heard Serenity say her delivery is 24-2 May, now I'm feeling like I may not get it on launch day. I still have my fingers crossed though.
I feel if it's coming from China like some launch, we should see some changes in the status by this weekend. But for other launch, I remember the stock was already in the U.S. And the status changes very late.

Highly unlikely to bump up until everybody who has a 4/24 to 5/8 even ships. And none has yet to.

I'm still at 4/24 - 5/8 as well but I'm pretty confident this means delivery on the 24th! You can already reserve a spot for an Apple Watch Workshop in the Apple Retail Stores, which should be an indicator.
The description mentions to bring your Apple Watch. Why should they arrange these workshops if nobody gets his or her Apple Watch until that date? The workshops start 4/24 :)
So I guess for most of the 4/24 - 5/8 people this means Apple Watch very soon. To my knowledge there is nobody with a 4/24 delivery - everyone seems to have 4/24 - 5/8.
I heard someone on the podcast say they have a 4/24 - 5/2 date which is when I started to get a little worried. I think that is the first wave of deliveries but not sure how many got that before it slipped to our May 8th range but meh I aint worried.

ordered 38mm space grey/black band 4/24-5/8...no change...besides the apple store app order status deciding to not connect here and there and everytime it comes back i think its going to be changed. I thought inside a week Apple tends to do things on Tuesdays..
Let's wait. I think nothing will happen over the weekend. I think the quote that watches will ship sooner than we think could mean two things:
A.
They decided to deliver all watches- even the ones that were originally planned to be sold in the Retail Stores
B.
They changed their plans for the second wave countries - maybe they will get the Watch later!

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the shipping address during processing?
I thinking I might want it delivered to my office instead of my residence, especially if I have to sign for it. But I don't want to cause any shipping delays. My delivery is scheduled for 4/24-5/8.
Click on your order number in your email there will be a drop down box you can change the delivery address.
I'm in the 12th May - 26th May bracket so the chances of me getting the watch on Friday is 0. Despite ordering by 2 minutes past. Ridiculous
Mine is 13 May - 27 May and I ordered about 1 hour after pre-ordered began. Stainless steel 42mm. I was on another website 3 days ago, and a person said that his status changed to "preparing to ship." That is the only one that I have heard showing anything different than "processing." I am hoping that mine comes during the first or second week of May! It sucks so bad waiting.

I think it depends on the locality on which they use.

It seems as if some people really are sure that they will get their Watch on the 24th - YouTube reviewers from Germany. So I think I won't get mine with the status info still unchanged :(
In my experience Apple has used FedEx for my area and they're consistently a PITA for me. But Apple does have a form that you can print and sign to have the package left. I'd be pretty happy if this came UPS though.
You are able to "pre-sign" your order before the status changes to "Preparing for shipment".
True, but at that point, you need to leave it up to the "honor system" when it comes to neighbors.
You can pre sign right up until it delivers I know with UPS.

I believe you can do it when u "edit" your information under the "ships to" info.
I'm also trying to find pre-sign but there is no option to do so in my order
I recall in the past seeing a link that directed you to the pre-sign page but I don't see that at the moment.
I believe that I saw it on the "shipping" page.
I called Apple and they said you can't pre-sign until it ships.

I ordered my 42mm SS with Milanese Loop at 2:04am and have delivery date of 4/24-5/8. My status is still Processing! Hoping it comes this Friday but it will be here when it is here!

Mine still said processing, so I changed my shipping address before it updates. Still scheduled for 4/24 -5/8 after address change.

SOMETHING COULD HAPPEN TODAY! with the iPhone 6 preorders people got their status changes for PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT on the Sunday before the release- so today would be it. Either way, I think today or tomorrow is a good bet for the status change!

In my app it accepted the W1234567 number and at the moment shows the exact same status as the Apple Website - just search for Apple in the App's search field an all you have to fill out is the Email and Order number
I think you'll get an email when your shipping status changes anyway.

Thanks for the tip on the Deliveries app... I have used that app for years but always thought you needed to input the tracking number... I had no idea you could put in an order number! Thanks for teaching me something today! *off to input all my Amazon.com order numbers!*
I have the feeling tonight or tomorrow morning, our status will change to get ready... and shipping tomorrow night / Tuesday morning... for a perfect delivery on Friday :)
Does anyone know how long the wait is between "preparing for shipment" and actually shipping? And when in that process do our cards get charged or debited for the watch? Thanks all! I'm glad I'm not the only one checking my watch status every hour at least.
I'm also wondering if the processing is different depending on how close you are from the warehouse?

I ordered two watches on the 10th. I ordered the 42mm stainless steel with link bracelet that says it'll deliver between May 13 - May 27. When inputting this one into deliveries app, it say's it'll deliver in 38 days by May 27. The other one I ordered was the 38mm Sport with white band and it says it'll deliver Apr 24 - May 8. In the deliveries app this one says unknown delivery date.....uhg!
Both of these are still in processing items. I find it funny that the one that is coming sooner says delivery date unknown though.

Be patient. When it ships. You can track by UPS/Fedex for free.
It just shows the info directly from Apple status page. If it ships earlier it will update.

Yeah I think I'll wait a day or two to get my tracking number lol I'm anxious to get it but considering I'm fortunate enough to get to buy one I'll be patient.
