Sports band - soft otherwise as expected
Milanese loop - really like this one. Almost fabric like even though it's metal. I did wonder if pet hair would get caught in the loops
Leather loop - like this more than I thought I would. Comfortable and sturdy on my wrist. And the bright blue is very nice.
Link bracelet - amazing engineering. Personally thought it made the watch look slightly too masculine for me. But still undecided if I would want one
Modern buckle - my least favorite. The clasp mechanism was cool but the leather was very thin and although this probably would t happen, it seemed like it might tear. Not available for my pre-ordered 43mm anyway
The Milanese loop looks incredible, but I'm actually most surprised by how good the plain black sports band looks. I was expecting it to look like the cheap black silicone/rubber bands on fitness trackers, but it looks much softer and higher quality than those. Impressive.
Your wrist looks about the same as mine. What did you think of the difference between 38 and 42? I preferred the 42 the 38 was a little too slender when I saw it in person.

I mostly tried on the 42 and just tried one 38 at the very end. I was happy with my choice of the 42.

It was very soft and comfortable. I'll be curious to see how it feels after getting hot and sweaty though.
I like your pictures. Though I think the 38mm looks better on your wrist. But that's a matter of taste, I guess!
Anyways, can't wait until we all get our hands on the Watch!
Here two pics from my try on...I went with the 38mm although I'm male..
Not a fan of the "feel" of the Sport bands, but that black one looks really good with the SS. Still glad I went with the Milanese, but that Sport is making me a bit envious.
Thanks for the pics! I'm getting the leather loop and was wondering how it felt? Read somewhere it felt "like plastic". Did it feel secure on your wrist?

Not going to speak for Karen, but my wife tried on the leather loop and fell in love with the watch. Ordered it as soon as we got home. She didn't realize that they don't make the leather loop for 38mm though.....sadly.
I'm tripping over how nice the Blue Leather looks. I thought I would be good with just a Black Sport Band. But after seeing these pics is changing my mind.
Thanks for the pics.... I tried on many bands. I tried to shake loose (with permission of the Apple employee) Milanese and Leather Loop and was unable to budge them. Very secure.
The leather loop was thinner than I expected. Almost to the point of being too thin.

It felt completely secure. I didn't think it felt like plastic either. Not quite like leather, but very soft and easily conformed to my wrist. I don't have/wear a lot of leather though so I'm not sure what to compare it to. And that bright blue color was really nice.

Interesting. I'd go in the other direction and say that the leather loop was closer to being too thick not too thin. But really I think it was just right. But the modern buckle (38mm only) did seem way too thin. I'd be afraid of tearing that band even though logically I'm sure that wouldn't happen.
