    Folks,

With the new "healthkit" apps in iOS 8, and the Apple Watch's ability to use them, plus it's own abilities is the Apple Watch enough of a fitness band for you? Or do you still want a fitbit or something similar? Myself I decided the apps and abilities in my Moto360 IS enough. So what do you all think?

I have the Fitbit Flex and Garmin Forerunner. I am a runner and was undecided on the apple watch as a replacement. I read all the reviews and followed the blog of the model. I found it will give me what I am looking for, one device instead of 2. AND I get an actual watch!

Sure, but I highly doubt I'd be taking it to the gym. I will more than likely leave it at home like I do with my iPhone unless it's one of those days when all I'm going to do is walk.

I can't imagine why a person would have this watch and still want something like a Fitbit (or any of the other fitness wearables on the market).

I think the watch will have everything you need. I would say if you don't care about the look and just want something health related then just get the cheaper FitBit instead of putting out all that money for the apple watch.

I think serious athletes would prefer Garmin's offerings such as the Forerunner and Fenix watches. Fitbit types will get what they need with the Watch.

The Watch is perfect for me. The only thing that remains to be seen for me is the social interaction. Whether it will allow friends and competition. As a Fitbit user I've gotten used to the badges and all of my Fitbit friends.
