    When you pre-order the watch, when does Apple charge you? I am assuming right before shipping? Do they do some sort of temporary authorization on the credit card when you place the order?

    Ah ok, so that is different than when I order with Verizon. I spot the charge first, and the tracking number will come later.

    My CC statement shows the transaction as pending currently. But it is the weekend, so we will see if it actually gets charge or not by Tuesday.
    But I believe when I ordered the iPhone, I got charged once the phone was shipped from their warehouse.
