CNN reported that there are light crowds. Not surprising since you can't buy it today.

I'm not surprised. Also, I read an article not long ago about Apple trying to dissuade people from waiting in long lines during a launch or something to that effect, but I can't remember where I read it.

yeah I don't know why crowds would have been expected since you can't buy until the 24th in-store. now when that day comes it'll be interesting to see how many people line up despite the low store inventory warnings.

Lol. Maybe cuz some folks are there also to purchase other Apple products? I am sure there are those who are not as informed as us, and I'm sure the Apple Sale Reps would be glad to educate them on how and where to buy the Watch.

Not surprised at all since you can't buy it in store, most people won't take time out of the day just to go "play" with one.

Yeah very true, considering today is a weekday I wonder how crowded it would be over the weekend.

Yeah, crowds seemed thin in ATL as well. I went to mall and was able to sit down with a rep and try on the watches. It took about 7 min to get seated, this was at about 2:30 04/10/15.

Not surprising when you can't buy it in store and need an appointment to try it on.

I was at my local Apple Store in the UK yesterday and it seemed no more busy than usual. There were people around the  Watch displays, but to compensate, the Genius bar area was much quieter than usual, so in total there were probably no more than you would normally expect in the store.

Wait, how can Apple Watch debut before its release? I mean sure you can see it in stores but that's not a debut.
