As the title states, do you think that the Apple watch will be a collectible someday? Like if you bought one and kept it new in box?

I don't think it will approach the excellent industrial design of the iPhone 4. That phone, even though the networks it operates on will eventually be phased out, is a thing of beauty, and to me, the pinnacle of Apple design to this point. The watch will be easily forgotten. It's still a nice watch though.

This reminds me of what people did with Beanie Babies, although it's more expensive. I suppose that anything is possible!

Only if you happened to have some super rare one. My mom had a bunch...checked online...all worthless.
