Oh my bad. Not the edition. I was rather excited and had a major brain cramp. Just the regular Apple Watch (stainless steel).

Keep trying. It took me three attempts before I got the email confirmation.

I plan on adding AppleCare+ after it arrives. I didn't want anything to cause delays.

Sensible, given experiences of others (straps, etc., killing shipping times).

May or may not buy extra strap, charging cable in a separate order.

Used the Apple store app on the iPhone, it was fast... apple pay worked well... ordered the 42 stainless/ black sports band... delivery 4/24-5/8.
Used the iPhone store app that iMore recommended for fast purchase!

i can't help but wonder why delivery dates are so far out, Apple had 7months to manufacture enough watches for everybody, except what we were shown on the 9th of September was a really good prototype, some sorta glint in their eye and they hadn't started manufacturing at all

Anybody else get prompted to enter billing address, shipping address, phone, and email when trying to pay with apple pay? I could have sworn that was all in this afternoon when I checked. Maybe because I never used the store app before? Cost me a few weeks in delivery I guess. 5/13 instead of 4/24!

Unless they can run a test on it remotely. . . . I purchased Apple Care+ for an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ and never had to enter the store.
