I'm 6'8" with a 9" wrist. I'm concerned that the sport version of the watch will not fit. I used the Apple Store online chat and was told that with the 42 mm model and sport band the total size would be 252mm or roughly 9.9 inches. The online Apple rep stated the posted band sizes don't take into account the actual watch face height. Is this true? Anyone received similar information?

That sounds plausible. I'm not a particularly muscular guy - I do weights, but my arms are more wiry than bulky - and my wrist is 210 mm (8 1/4" if my math is right.) I really can't believe that I'm right on the edge of being able to wear an Apple Watch. So if there's another 0.9" from the watch itself, that would make sense.

Personally, I'm more committed than ever to trying one on before ordering.
