Apple Watch?s Battery Life Could Be Its Achilles Heel | TechCrunch

Apparently it isn't too bad, considering the 18 hour time they gave was really dense in terms of usage. 90 Notifications seem reasonable. What do you guys think?

It sounded reasonable to me. Of course in the first few days/weeks of wearing it, it is going to drain a lot more quickly because you'll be using your new toy a lot. So there will be lots of initial complaints, I think. The true test will be the battery life people get after 2-6 months of use.

Being there 24 hours in a day myself I'd like to get same from battery but that's just me.

I wish I only got 90 notifications a day! That's probably a good number to use for most though I think. Trying to add up mine it's like 150 work email, 30 personal email, 15 texts, 25 phone calls, then there's like 50 tapatalk/forums, 5 facebook, etc. etc. so that's like 275+.

I will be waiting for the 2nd version or later before jumping on the wearables bandwagon. Just don't feel the market is defined enough for what peoples wants, needs, and uses will be yet, and therefore neither are the devices.
