Yes. Or no... personal decisions like this shouldn't be crowd sourced for affirmation...

I'd never pay 4-thousand dollars for a watch. Imo it's a unnecessary status symbol.

No, in my opinion. The Watch is a smart device in the form of a watch. At least that's how I see it.

I've got a Rolex and an Omega Constellation.

    I wear a Timex.

I'll be getting an Apple Watch.

Why not? Go get the 18k gold one. I'm sure the price is going to be around the same cost as a luxury watch too.

I'd take the Apple watch as a gift. I'm not going to purchasing one.

I will say I do have a thing for nice watches. I will also say that my nice watches (have around 20) were all purchased for under $1000 each. Love the Michele watch collection. Anyway despite me being a watch ***** ( my husbands nickname for my problem) my want and desire to purchase the apple watch I think is more cause I love new tech and apple stuff not my watch addiction.

I would go with the  Watch if you want something that looks good and is functional with Smartwatch capabilities. If you don't care about "smart" features and want a watch more as jewelry, get a standard watch.

If you get the Apple Watch Edition it will likely become your primary watch because it will be so much more functional. I say go for it if you like nice watches, LG!

I'd most likely get the Sport model. For tracking my work out.

All my watches are either titanium or steel bands - aviator watches mostly. That's why i'm looking into the sport band (as a change up) for the apple watch!
