I don't even want to know the price in Canada... Probably close to $400 CAD...

Comparable to most smartwatches on the market now for example the samsung gear series, paying 350 dollars seems respectable; I would buy it for that price.

I doubt I'd pay $50 for one. Why do I need a tiny iPod on my wrist? I carry my iPhone everywhere I go.

If you think the Apple watch is too expensive, but like the look, which I don't, the Chinese always have a solution for you. $31 Bucks :rotfl:

I won't be getting one, but it's mainly due to my eyesight. I just ordered the iPhone 6 because I can barely see my Blackberry screen, a watch would be a complete waste on me.

Don't rule out the accessibility options! Just like the iPhone has many options for people with difficulty reading small text, I'll bet Apple has already put thought into making the Apple Watch friendly to people who don't want to necessarily look at their wrists but instead get a ?tap? or hear something on the hour or when they raise their wrists. Something to consider.

Back to the original post, I will likely end up spending around $500.00 for the watch when I first buy it, and maybe more to get a snazzy band for special occasions. I'm not rich by any means, but I know how to budget. ;)

You can get a 64 gb iPhone 6 for $50 less! I don't care for wearing a watch.

True, but there's no contract with a watch. I like wearing watches but my Pebble stopped working. I'm not going to bother with it or any other watch until Apple releases theirs. Going by your signature, you don't get the itch to adopt new technology early and that's fine! I'll tell you all about my experience with the first gen watch, and I'm willing to bet you may start to care for wearing an Apple watch by the third generation or so. ;)

That $349 price is for the base model. There's two different types:

? 38mm case
? 42mm case

Then if you're a 'baller,' then we have the 'Edition,' that runs about $5,000+ sitting on 18k gold.
