Ever since updating my watch to 6.1.1 the battery has been in the low 30% area around late afternoon after it starting at 100% that morning.

On 6.1 it would be in the 50-60% area

I’d love to know why 6.1.1 is so draining, specially since my daily routine hasn’t changed at all since updating!

Anyone else have this issue and know what’s causing it? Help very much appreciated.

I have an Apple Watch 4 and I’m currently on watchOS 6.1.1. I haven’t noticed any irregular battery drain and I’m currently at 71% from a 100% charge this morning.

If you haven't done it since the updates, maybe try restarting your phone and watch. You might have a misbehaving app or one of them is having a syncing issue or something. No battery drain issues here either. 89% after being off the charger for 6 hours on a 1 year old battery.

I have an aluminum cellular Apple Watch 4 running 6.1.1 and my batter life seems to be the same. I'm curious to know if did restart your watch and phone and what the results are after a few days.

AW series 3 LTE and I have at least 70% battery at 11 pm and I have the watch off the charger at 7am. I’m thinking you have an app not behaving.
