Watch doesn’t chime on the hour

I set my Watch series 3 to chime on the hour but I only get haptic feedback. Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas?

Yes the toggle is set on to chime and I have upgraded to 6.0.1

Oh okay. I would try a AW reboot.

Okay, rebooted both the watch and phone and the top of the hour just came with no chime, only haptic feedback.

Make sure theatre mode is not enabled. Also, go to Settings and turn up the volume.

Ok. Just changed the sound from bells to birds and will see what happens in 45 minutes. Stayed tuned.

I’m either blind or something, but I do not see a setting for “haptic chime” on either my Series 3 Watch running watchOS 6.1 or the Watch app on my iPhone.

It’s under Accessibility on both the watch and in the watch app on the phone.

So, if you turn the watch volume to max you can
hear the bell, but it’s not loud. It works.
