I haven't noticed that drastic of a drain, I'm still getting 24-36 hours. I do notice somewhat of a drain at night, as others have stated, but it's not what you're describing. Have you thought about contacting Apple Support?

I was getting 2 days pretty easily, but lately it's more like a day and a half. So maybe a little more drain, but nothing as dramatic as you mentioned.

I took my Series 3 cellular model off the charger about 14 hours ago and I still have approximately 72% battery life remaining. With that being said, I know I can go another full day and then some on a single charge while running watchOS 5 dev beta 1.

I put my Apple Watch on usually around 7:00AM and I don’t think I’ve ever gone below 75% on a full day’s use unless I’ve gone somewhere without my iPhone (I have a cellular model). Even then I still get a full day of use out of it.

Let me ask this do you folks leave it so your watch turns the screen on when your wrist goes up or do you have the screen off?

My S0 is really plummeting as well after the last update, not getting a full day. I reboot it last night before putting it on the charger for overnight but it was already red by 5pm which is not usual.

Give it a day or two to settle in. Things should improve.

Same situation series 1, never a problem with battery. Charge in mornings last all night plenty of power. After update 4.3.1. first night 4 am power reserve bing. Figured maybe working, second night ok. Then third night 5am bing power reserve. Checked forums online thousands of me too's across all generations.

Apple support, test diagnostics, batter fine. Next want unpair repair watch set up as new. Offered senior engineer contact I declined. Like old MSFT days let's play all day, I think not. Eventually enough complaints they will fix update which is where the problem lies.

I do but no bearing on matter. Always have no battery problem, update battery problem. Yes taking turn on screen and turning it off will conserve power but should not have too, never had to before.

The reboot helped a lot, battery life is back to normal. I had already reboot once, but did it again and it's good.

I'm pretty sure I figured out my issue as well. I've been working in a new office lately that doesn't have cell signal inside. I've been putting my iPhone in Airplane Mode so my phone wouldn't be constantly looking for signal. I didn't think to do that with my Apple Watch w/LTE

Bad battery came after updated to iOS 12 dev2, and it happened after updating to dev1 so may be something related. My watch isn't on watchOS 5 beta since it's a S0.
