Thanks! I’m enjoying it so far. Been wanting to have an Apple watch since the first model. It’s a gift from my daughter!

I will say just wait, and really check if the area you will be using has good reception. The Watch has weaker signal strength, so if your phone has 1-2 bar that means watch might not get anything.

Nice, I was in the same decision as you but went for a AW Series 2 Space gray from a friend for $250 that he just got back from Apple do to a problem and Apple send him a new one.

Think I got a pretty good deal, still have the warranty until 01/09/2019

    Loving this thing everyday!

Great deal! I'm also rocking my Series 2 SS but the Series 3 LTE is calling out to me. The thing is I don't need LTE as I always have my phone with me.

One thing about the LTE version: even if you don't activate service, you can still make an emergency call. Imagine your phone is lost or stolen, or out of battery, and you need to call 911 for some reason. A remote possibility maybe, but still one thing you can do.

Apple Watch LTE can make 911 and emergency calls without a carrier plan – BGR

My iPhone was being repaired recently and having LTE on the watch was nice to still be able to contact people during the 4 hour wait time. Was it necessary? No, but it was still nice. My free 3 months of LTE is up, and I'm still trying to decide if it's worth the $10/month.
