It there a problem with Facebook Messenger not working properly on the Watch?

FB messenger doesn't work properly at all on my apple watch. Sometimes it doesn't load the conversations and keeps showing white cyrcle on black screen instead, mostly doesnt load the history in the chat window and it never shows profile pictures in the chat list window (only silhouettes).

Is this global problem of fb messenger or is the bug only in my case?

I barely use the Messenger app on my Watch. Hopefully, someone else will reply soon.
